CO Practice updates

Dear children,

Please note that there is no CO practice today.

The P6 children are working extremely hard for their future.. Do give them some words of encouragement when you see them in school! (^_^)

There is no CO practice this week (2 and 3 August)

Dear parents and children,

Please note that there is no practice this week due to Prelim Oral Examinations. Please do not stay back after school, unless you are taking part in the examination.

Dear members,

Sincere apologies for the blog's inactivity for a while.... Sharing some light moments with our yang qin and percussion members. (^_^)

In addition, do have a look at this video.. Playing a musical instrument is just like putting clothes on. If you are confident, everything will be amazing. The poise, the rhythm, the mood.

And for those who say Chinese Orchestra is boring or too cultural, here is proof that Chinese Orchestra can and does keep up with the times - with Angry Birds, no less! (^_^)

Finally, something that many of you remember - a song medly from Beauty and the Beast. 

Do remember that there is practice this Thursday, and Friday is our off  day for Aqua Fiesta. Do enjoy yourself! (^_^)

Chinese Orchestra Potluck

Dear parents,

Thank you so much for your generous contribution to the potluck we had just now. The children (and teachers) really enjoyed your hospitality, not to mention the yummylicious food! Sharing some photographs.. (^_^)

This is indeed a sweet note to end the academic term. Looking forward to seeing the children perform and have fun at tomorrow's Arts Carnival! (^_^)

SYF photographs

Dear all,

As you have known, our Chinese Orchestra members have worked extremely hard for the SYF and were awarded Silver this year. Do give the children a pat on their backs, as they have really put in a lot more than what we had expected. Most importantly, amid the sweat and hard work, the children have come together and had fun, while learning to work as a team!
